  • Your work is stored locally. Keep your own backups of important content.
  • App Store downloads are governed by Apple’s standard license. This page adds service-use rules.

This summary is a reading aid. Please read the complete document below.

Scope and the Apple license

These terms apply to the Sing Freely (随心唱) app and its official website, provided by the Sing Freely developer (“we”, “us”). The provider is the developer listed on the App Store product page. Contact support@netmusicapp.com.

For an app obtained through the App Store, the software license is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), unless the App Store expressly provides another applicable license. This page supplements service-use rules and does not replace that license. In a conflict about software licensing, the applicable license controls. Your statutory consumer rights remain intact.

Please read these terms and the Privacy Policy before use. Stop using the service if you do not agree to the applicable terms. The Privacy Policy explains processing and does not imply consent to operations you have not separately authorized.

The service and requirements

Sing Freely provides on-device audio import, vocal and backing-track separation, lyric display, singing recording, pitch practice, playback adjustments and export. Automatic transcription is optional and requires a model download. Feature availability depends on your device, operating system, file formats, storage and permissions.

The app does not supply music or lyric rights, an online music catalog or a public content-publishing platform. No account is required. Younger users should use it with a parent or guardian’s guidance and follow its App Store age rating and local law.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain your rights in content you create or lawfully own. Importing or recording content does not give us ownership of it, and we do not request a license to use it for promotion, advertising or model training.

You are responsible for having the permissions needed to import, record, edit, transcribe, play or share songs, lyrics, backing tracks, voices and other material. Obtain necessary consent before recording other people. Separation, pitch changes, mixing or transcription do not remove copyright or automatically grant rights to public distribution or commercial use.

Rights in the app, interface, software and third-party components belong to their respective owners. Open-source components are provided under their own licenses. These terms do not restrict modification, replacement, debugging or other rights those licenses grant. Notices are available in the app’s About and Licenses and related open-source license pages.

Acceptable use

  • Do not infringe copyright, privacy, likeness, voice or other lawful rights, or create or distribute unlawful content.
  • Do not use recordings, transcripts or processed output for impersonation, fraud, harassment or other unlawful purposes.
  • Do not attack this website or download services, bypass access restrictions or interfere with others’ use.
  • Follow applicable terms of third-party services and sharing destinations you use.

These restrictions do not exclude conduct expressly permitted by law or limit rights granted by third-party open-source licenses.

Third-party services and privacy

Apple provides App Store distribution and its platform services. Hugging Face and its delivery services provide optional model files. This website is hosted by Vercel and uses Cloudflare for DNS, content delivery and security. Third-party providers are responsible for their availability, policies and independent processing. Using them does not remove our own legal responsibilities.

Audio processing and transcription take place on your device. The Privacy Policy explains processing associated with model downloads, website visits, support emails and sharing you initiate. When you export content to another service, that service handles it under its own rules.

Fees and purchases

The current version has no in-app subscriptions or automatic renewal plans. If there is a charge to download the app, the price shown in the App Store at purchase applies. You are responsible for carrier charges such as mobile data.

If paid features or subscriptions are introduced, we will explain the price, benefits, billing period and applicable cancellation rules before purchase and obtain your explicit purchase confirmation. Apple-processed transactions and refund requests follow its applicable rules and statutory consumer rights. These terms do not themselves authorize a charge.

Outputs and keeping your data

Vocal separation, automatic transcription and pitch scoring are assistive tools. Source audio, noise, models, hardware and headphone latency can affect results. Outputs may contain errors, residual audio or synchronization differences. Pitch scores are not professional certifications. Check results before using or sharing them.

We take reasonable steps to maintain the service but cannot guarantee support for every format or device, or uninterrupted third-party downloads. Device failure, insufficient storage, interruptions or deletion may cause data loss. Export and back up important work before making changes. We have no copy of your local content and cannot restore deleted files.

Liability and consumer rights

These terms do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including applicable liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence. They do not reduce statutory rights to refunds, repair or other remedies. Other software warranty and liability matters are governed by applicable law and the applicable Apple license.

We are responsible for our app support and our own services as applicable. Apple is not the service provider under these supplemental terms. This page does not change the parties’ rights or obligations under the Apple Standard EULA.

Stopping use and service changes

You may stop using the service, revoke permissions or delete the app at any time. Export work you want to keep before deletion. Deleting the app does not automatically remove content shared with other services, external originals or existing backups.

We may update or adjust features for security, legal or maintenance reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we explain changes that significantly affect use and respect applicable legal protections for existing rights. We do not acquire your local work when you stop using the app.

Updates and resolving concerns

Revised terms will be published here with an effective date. Material changes will receive appropriate additional notice. Where law requires express agreement, we will obtain it separately. Changes will not retrospectively remove existing statutory rights.

Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This is not a mandatory prerequisite to seeking help from a court, regulator or another legally available remedy. These terms do not impose arbitration or remove protection available under applicable law in your place of residence. The Chinese and English versions are intended to have the same meaning; contact us about discrepancies.
